Cala Codolar is a small, quiet beach where the water is crystal clear. Fish can be seen swimming there over the smooth pebbles. To get there, you have to go down a long staircase that starts at the tasteful Elixir restaurant or drive a 1.5-km dirt road all the way to the bottom.
The small beach bar provides necessary refreshments. Truly a beach to relax on!
Our tip: climb left over the rocks to an artwork of thirteen 20-meter-high pillars “Time and Space” created in 2014 by Australian artist Andrew Rogers on behalf of Guy Laliberte, one of the founders of Cirque de Soleil. This artwork was built illegally just off Guy’s land and there are still uncertainties as to whether it will be allowed to remain.
