s' Estanyol
Location: Below Roca Llisa
S’estanyol is a small hidden beach near Jesus. It is about only 10 minutes from Ibiza town yet you notice absolutely nothing of the crowds here. The road there is unpaved and it takes some searching but this is really worth it.
It is a quiet cove surrounded by pine trees. At the beach you will find a cozy beach bar where you can order tapas and all kinds of snacks. In season, there are often parties here until about 2 o’clock. Especially many local people flock here. Nice to have experienced once. Through the rocks on the left side you can climb up from which you have a beautiful view of the adjacent bay.
This beach is often used for weddings or dinners, and was even used for the shooting of the Dutch Film “Verliefd op Ibiza. That perhaps underscores that this little beach is worth a try!
How to get there: drive through the village of Jésus. A few streets after you leave the village, the signs clearly say s’Estanyol (turn left). Follow these signs. After about 1.5 km you will arrive at a dirt road. This one is quite long. Just drive down and you’ll get to the beach.
