Sa Caleta is surrounded by beautiful red rocks, this beautiful southern beach is considered 1 of the most beautiful places on the island. It is protected from the wind and its balmy atmosphere makes it a wonderful place for snorkeling. Very popular with families with children, this is partly because the water is very shallow. However, you have no cell phone coverage here. On the cliffs there is a lot of terracotta clay that people use to rub each other with. A kind of spontaneous outdoor spa treatment; the clay is said to have healing properties.
Tip: You’ll also find a good chiringuito (beach bar) here. It is open 365 days a year and serves delicious seafood.
