San Rafael

San Rafael is a small village in Ibiza, located along the road from Ibiza town to San Antonio. With beautiful views all the way to the coast, this small village has much more to offer than you would think at first glance. Although it consists of little more than a beautiful, 18th-century church, some stores and restaurants and a few houses, this oasis of tranquility is a great place to settle down for a delicious meal, a drink or some shopping in the fun and original ceramic stores that San Rafael is known for.

Convenient location

Although San Rafael itself is very small, it is not far from anywhere. In about 10 minutes you can be in Ibiza town or San Antonio, and because there are relatively many restaurants in San Rafael, it is an ideal place to rent an apartment or villa near here. Moreover, you are also just a short walk away from two of Ibiza’s biggest nightclubs, Amnesia and Privilege.

Restaurants

San Rafael offers some excellent dining options including the well-known Can Pilot, which specializes in grilled meats, and is loved by locals and tourists alike, so booking in advance is recommended! A little further down the road you will find La Belle Ibiza, where you can enjoy European, Mediterranean and Oriental influences. If you like authentic Italian, enjoy at La Mesa Escondida, or the romantic Las Dos Lunas, just outside San Rafael.

Worth a visit

Even if you are not staying close by, San Rafael is definitely worth a visit if you are in porroig Ibiza. You can easily walk the village, and visit the beautiful church or the wonderful artist shops where you can buy original pieces, before enjoying an ice cream, a refreshing drink or a delicious meal.
