Job Overview
You’ll shape the future of all products at One of a Kind Travel by defining a vision, strategy and roadmap and executing on it. You will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and collaborate closely with engineers, as well as executives from across the business. Preferably you have profound knowledge of-or at least affinity with-the (luxury) travel industry. You’re hands-on and pride yourself in taking ownership of the entire product development process, from ideation to implementation. You will report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a short-, mid- and long-term product strategy and roadmap.
- Manage a team of (remote) engineers.
- Work closely with various in- and external stakeholders.
- Optimize and guard the product development process, including processing internal requests, closing the feedback loop, etc.
- Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies, ensuring the team is equipped to handle growth and complexity.
- Set up real-time analytics and reporting and dashboards to track product performance, conversion rates and other key metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of product management experience, working directly with design and engineering teams in an agile software development environment.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of shipping innovative and successful products.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, “get stuff done” attitude when approached with new challenges
- Firm sense of accountability and ownership across the entire product development lifecycle
- Data-driven approach with the ability to leverage data to make decisions
- A good understanding of analytics tools including mobile analytics and A/B testing
- Proficient in and passionate about Agile software development methodologies

- Experience with (travel related) marketplaces.
- Experience with SEO strategies.
- Experience with product analytics and how to properly setup and implement a decent tracking plan.
- Experience with Jira.
- Experience within an Agile environment.
