Job Overview
We are looking for a Travel Consultant who will report directly to the Head of Bookings. In this role, you will manage booking enquiries, answer client questions, handle complaints and assist in building customer loyalty. You will work closely with the Account Managers to ensure a smooth booking process and excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role that requires a motivated, adaptable person who is passionate about delivering high-end experiences to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Booking Enquiries & Conversions
– Respond promptly to booking enquiries through various channels (email, phone, Whatsapp, chat, etc.).
– Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings by providing clients with all the necessary information, options and personalized service.
– Follow up with potential clients to ensure no opportunities are missed.
– Liaise with Account Managers to secure property availability and offer customized solutions to clients.
Customer Service & Support
– Handle client questions and concerns, providing timely and accurate information.
– Manage complaints and resolve issues, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
– Build and maintain relationships with clients to foster repeat business and enhance customer loyalty.
Collaboration & Communication
– Work closely with Account Managers and other internal teams to ensure the booking process is seamless.
– Collaborate on providing additional services (private chefs, car rentals, concierge services) to enhance the guest experience.
– Ensure that all relevant information is accurately entered into the booking system and communicated to the appropriate team members.
Operational Excellence
– Track booking inquiries and follow-up actions to ensure a smooth workflow.
– Maintain a high level of professionalism and knowledge of our exclusive properties and services.
– Assist in optimizing the booking process, identifying ways to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Multilingual Support
– Provide support in both English and at least one other fluent foreign language (French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.) to cater to our diverse client base.
Qualifications & Experience
– Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles (sales, customer support, hospitality, etc.) is essential.
– Multilingual Skills: Fluent in English and at least one other fluent language (French, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.) to effectively communicate with a wide range of clients.
– Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage clients with a professional and personable tone, both in writing and over the phone.
– Sales Acumen: Proven ability to convert enquiries into bookings, with a strong sense of urgency and a customer-first mindset.
– Problem Solving: Ability to handle complaints, resolve issues and think on your feet to ensure a positive client experience.
– Attention to Detail: Ensure that all bookings are accurately processed and that clients are kept informed throughout their booking journey.
– Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, to meet the demands of the role.
