You want to take the family to Ibiza? This beautiful island is great for that. Ibiza is not just for groups of friends who come to party day in and day out. Ibiza is much, much more. There are beautiful beaches, restaurants with great cuisine and lots of places to stay with the whole family. Ibiza is small, so you will never have to spend a long time in the car with the kids to that sandy beach they have been looking forward to for so long.
Where is the best place to go with the family?
There are several places on the island suitable for family. Actually, we always find it difficult to single out 1 specific spot. Because there are more places you can go.
But what do we personally think is the best place? We then quickly think east toward Santa Eularia, San Carlos and San Lorenzo. There are a huge number of beaches on that side such as Cala Llenya, Cala Nova, Cala Martina and Cala Mastella. These beaches are a bit quieter, have nice beach bars but not necessarily the big crowds you find in Salinas, Es Cavallet, Cala Jondal or near the 2 cities of Ibiza town or San Antoni. If your children are a bit older (around 18 years old) and you like a bit more crowds, these beaches are great fun.
The north also always remains very suitable. There are somewhat fewer beaches in the north, but they are child-friendly.

Suitable houses for family, and is there price difference?
Traveling with a family is always relatively expensive. Even in Ibiza, you often pay for location. Around Ibiza town, or in a radius of about 15 km, prices are significantly higher. If you just want to enjoy the island and don’t necessarily need to visit the city often, we recommend settling nicely in the north, east, or central areas. Especially around San Juan, San Carlos and east of Santa Eularia, prices are slightly lower. If budget is not really the issue, there are also a huge number of beautiful quiet places for you and your family in the (south) west.

Fun activities with the family in Ibiza.
There are several fun activities for children. You can just take them to the beach, but if they can’t sit still and want more, we can recommend some fun things to do. For example, consider a day of cliff jumping (not huge cliffs, but suitable for children!). This can be done under supervision for a half or full day. Link: Cliff diving Ibiza!
A day of sailing? This can be done in several ways. We always like a catamaran very much. You lie back on the nets between the boat’s floats, take a trip to Es Vedra or Formentera, and enjoy a wonderful day together. Link: Catamaran in Ibiza.
